My name is Zebulun. I am a product designer and visual storyteller, and I've been creating digital interfaces, brands, and products for over 10 years. I have a broad set of skills that range across design, development, marketing, branding, photography, video, and music production. Because I've spent time across disciplines, I see things from multiple perspectives and approach problem-solving more holistically. I can also lead and cross-coordinate with teams much more fluidly.
I have a collaborative working style and a bias towards rapid prototyping and experimentation. I believe ideas should be free-flowing and that our assumptions can and should be challenged.
I am passionate about people, fascinated by human behavior, and respectful of emotion as a powerful motivator. I strive to create an environment where our user's presence is always felt in the room. That their desires, frustrations, and pain points are heard and impact our design process and decision-making.
❖ Led the user interface and interaction design of our headphones and mobile app from a holistic bird’s eye view of the customer journey.
❖ Owned the entire flow, interactions, and visual design of the iOS + Android app from OOBE all the way to Firmware Updates, and defined unique experiences like sound transparency, translation, voice assistance, and more.
âť– Continually refined core hardware and firmware interactions such as power, connection, tones, LED, and touch gestures.
âť– Identified and tracked all UX pain points across the customer journey, evangelizing the impact on our users and business to stakeholders and helping drive the development roadmap.
âť– Regularly worked alongside the Engineering team to understand our technical hurdles and limitations in order to design around them and meet our business goals and timelines.
âť– Built and tested multiple app prototypes, exploring various directions in navigation, layout, interaction, motion, & visual design. Then handed off the designs that would become the base of all future iteration of the app.

âť– Spearheaded a large client distribution project: a welcome kit that will be delivered to 1000+ clients. Worked alongside the marketing department to curate and design all contents and packaging.
âť– Since 2006, I have advised and provided design and creative work for clients across various industries including tech startups, real estate firms, bio-tech labs, insurance agencies, construction firms, artists, and non-profit organizations. Project scopes have included: brand identity, web design, usability testing, content strategy, custom photography and video, promotional print materials, digital online storefronts, and art direction.
